Yeah, that's my feeling too. It's true that there's a segment of fandom that really *did* migrate over to IJ--Harry Potter, mostly, and mainly because of the underage issues--for the most part fandom did not migrate, despite its expressed outrage. So I'm wondering if there will be a true migration, absent new push factors from LJ. I do like the philosophy of the site, and the general look of it, a lot more than LJ or IJ, so I'm buying an account to support it, but I just don't know about whether it's going to become the new center of fandom or not.
And though part of me wants to be free of our LJ overlords, as I said to someone above, the thought of what a widespread fannish migration to DW would do to my delicious bookmarks makes me cry, honestly. (I was hoping the Archive of our Own would mitigate that a little, but I'm starting to wonder if they're *ever* going to open to the general public).
