Just reactions, nothing really deep:

Supernatural

I've seen a lot of people talking about the character assassination of Sam, insofar as he didn't go looking for Dean, and I keep wanting to ask, have you ever SEEN this show before? Obviously there is something that has not yet been revealed about Sam that made him decide not to look for Dean, and I expect it's a little more complicated than an injured dog and a sassy veterinarian. I mean, does everyone remember the soulless Sam plot? Hello? The writers like to mislead us for a while, it's what they do.

Other than that my reactions were pretty shallow, along the lines of "How the hell is Dean still so pretty after a year of fighting in purgatory" and "wow, Dean got a new boyfriend in purgatory--I wonder what Cas' reaction to that was." I don't actually think Cas is dead; I think Dean betrayed him to get out. I doubt that means Misha will be back more than once this season, though, which makes me sad, since I don't like Dean's new boyfriend nearly as much.

Speaking of his new boyfriend--was I the only one thinking maybe Dean was vamped, given his lack of eating in the first part of the episode? It wasn't until he at the hamburger that I was convinced he wasn't.

I like Kevin, especially now that they've made him tough and smart. I hope he hangs around this season as a Winchester ally, since they've lost most of their other recurring characters.

Once Upon a Time

Hmmm. I keep going back on whether or not I will keep watching this show, and I am mostly in it for the villains, which means I am rooting for Rumpelstiltskin and Belle (even though he really IS bad for her, and if she were a real life acquaintance I'd tell her to run like hell), and the other pairing I really ship is Regina/Emma. Other than that I am mostly meh on the characters. I liked the concept of Mulan better than the execution (so far that actress underwhelms me, as does Sleeping Beauty, despite all the slashy potential there), and while I'm tentatively interested in Emma, especially, being exposed to fairyland, I hope they aren't stuck there too long, since I've always found the fairyland plots to be the least interesting parts of the show.

Revenge

For me, the highlight of the episode was Nolan moving in with Emily. Their relationship is always the highlight of the show for me, in all its dysfunctional bad d/s-ish glory. I hope he never actually moves out.

I also loved that Daniel and Ashley are now together, because they are perfectly matched in their plastic "perfection". (I am dying to see what happens with the Ashley-Victoria relationship after Victoria's inevitable return, because if Ashley isn't good enough for Grayson you know she isn't good enough for Victoria).

The whole Jack-Amanda thing is obviously a trainwreck, but part of me can't help admire Jack's commitment to doing the right thing even though he very obviously isn't in love with Amanda. Surely they're not going to make Amanda's baby-daddy someone else, though--that would be WAY too easy a solution.

I am fascinated by the idea of Victoria working with the white-haired dude. I'm sure she didn't have Emily's mom killed, though--I suspect her mom is alive in an asylum someplace, ready to turn up in the November sweeps.
