Wow, I have to say that the a_clexian_tale stories are, taken as a whole, I think probably the best group of challenge fics I can remember reading in a very, very long time. I've finally worked my way through them all, and I don't think there's a story in the bunch I don't like, and a number of them are truly among the best Clexfics I have ever read. (I guess I'll wait until the voting to do official recs, since I wouldn't want to bias the results). There are several stories with very interesting takes on Kryptonian culture/ technology/history; there are at least two stories that had me howling in laughter, and one that left me bereft and weeping; and there are also at least two long, plotty, extremely satisfying tales. Why aren't you reading them right now?

They're fantastic! I'm having the best time reading them! I can't wait to see who wrote what. And yes, there are some great and brand new takes on SV. It's a good time to be a fan, yes? *g*

The anonymity is interesting--I mean, yuletide stories are also anonymous, but there are so many, and the authors are so multi-fandom, that I can never guess, whereas for these stories I have a few guesses--enough to make it interesting--but I'm not completely sure about any of them.

And damn, there are some amazing stories. It's like a Clex renaissance!!

Seriously, they are wonderful stories, aren't they? I'm glad I can't vote, because I'm not sure I could pick which ones are my favorites.
