Oh, sorry, I actually think of that icon as mocking Mionel, since it is characterizing Lionel as moving in like a pimp, which to me implies there's something skeevy about Mionel. I wasn't trying to be deliberately inflammatory!

I actually wouldn't have minded if you came in and disagreed with parts of my review. Often I like when people disagree with me on issues of interpretation (as long as they're not just attacking characters or pairings). I have long discussions with people about my reviews in which I often change my mind about things. Heck, the transformation of my opinions about Lana and Lois over the past couple years is largely due to conversations with bop_radar and radioreverie and clari_clyde and aelora. Most of the time I don't even figure out what I really think about an episode until I've changed my mind twice after long conversation with other people.

I just don't like going and picking fights in other people's ljs, especially when I don't know them well and don't know how they respond to challenges to their interpretation of things. But clearly you're interested in conversation, so I'll keep that in mind in the future when I'm reading your reviews and I see something I disagree with!
