It's all pretty daft isn't it. Too soap opera-y for me. I think the actress really didn't sell those scenes well enough for me.

Yeah, she wasn't a great actress, but I honestly don't know who could have done anything with that storyline. Like LaT said above, couldn't they have made the conflict between Jor-El and Zor-El philosophical or political or something? *Sighs*

Well, at least it's the amusing crack! And it would actually rock if he got Lex to help him, so of course he won't.
