I must say I was disappointed with Bones. It just didn't feel like older seasons. Like you said, the break up was dumb. There was way too much focus on relationships, and they did it in such a cheesy way. There were so many stereotypes, like with Booth being embarrassing American in London, in how English were portrayed, and so on. Not to mention the whole "the butler did it". The whole premier felt a bit like a joke. :(
