I agree. Where AM and AA still can't muster up any chemistry even after two seasons, AM and SW just developed an easy one in their very first ep. I'm very intrigued by Davis' character. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

As for Clark, and Lois? Both written amazingly well in this ep.

I'm meh on Tess though, unfortunately. I'm just finding her so---random right now. She's like the veritable Poochie the Dog, ala The Simpsons.
