This icon looks so depressing! I never made a good version of it, though it is based on one of my favorite paintings, that I saw again when I was at the Art Institute in Chicago:


It's called "Interrupted Reading" by Jean-Baptiste Corot, which incidentally is also my journal title. I think I made it black and white because I didn't understand anything about file sizes when I first made it, and I thought color would take up more space. Or something like that.

It got me defriended, back in season 4 when Lex's morality (or lack thereof) was still a heated subject. For that reason I remain quite fond of it, though it's technical qualities aren't very good.

Do your icons make a statement about you? Well, I guess they say "I'd rather have icons I made myself than much prettier ones made by other people." And possibly also "I prefer to have female avatars, but will make exceptions for hot guys." (Actually, when I did the stats, the hot guys slightly edge out the women: 63 guys, 59 women--but I think I tend to use the female ones more).

What fandom do you have the most icons of? Smallville--a whopping 49

What ship do you have the most icons of? I actually have comparatively few shipper icons. It turns out the top pairing is a tie: 3 each for Lexana and J2/Wincest. I have 2 each for Clex, Mionel, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan/Jensen Ackles.

Are your icons mostly made by other users? No. Of my 112 icons, 9 are made by other people, and at least 4 of those were gifts.

Do you make icons? Yes

Are they any good? I wouldn't say so, as a rule, though occasionally I make a nice one.
