Yes, I agree. Very few of the stories I am reccing over the next few days paint him as an unabashed villain (and those will mostly be in the Luthorcest category). Of the list above, I think he is most villainous probably in Koi's "Mercy" (but actually, I think, less fucked up than Lex is in the story. And it's interesting to watch Lionel and Lex bond over their mutual antipathy of the "alien.")
