The Clex recs of the day are seperis's Marked and seperis and rageprufrock's Sparks .

Jenn is another one of those authors who are so prolific and amazing that it is hard to pick just one story. So as usual, I just picked the ones I personally reread most often (which tends to privilege short fics over longer ones, I know--but since her longer stories like A Handful of Dust and Somewhere I have never travelled and Three Impossible Things and Sleep While I Drive are on pretty much every SV rec page *ever*, I don't feel bad focusing on shorter porny pieces).

Marked is another Clark in makeup story (guh--personal kink here), which also features Lex shaving Clark (double guh). But in addition to the really, really hot personal grooming and sex going on in this story, there is also an interesting psychological undercurrent about the inequalities of Lex and Clark's relationship, and Lex's need to be able to leave a mark on Clark.

Sparks is a collaboration between Jenn and the fabulous rageprufrock, and it is one of my favorite Clex first time stories. Clark is in college, and Lex decides, for a treat, to take him to a strip club. First of all, this story is *prescient* in predicting that Clark would be scared by the boobies (just like he actually was in"Exposed"), but it also ends the way that episode should have: with Clark and Lex having sex.



The Smallville mystery rec of the day is ingrid_m's If I were king of the forest (Clark/Lex, Clark/Lana, Clark/Chloe).

Ok, technically this is more humor than porn, but it has a little bit of both, and it always makes me giggle. Clark speculates what life would be like if he *did* decide to become an evil alien overlord.



The Xenaverse stories today are Jen's Regency Fuck (Ares/Iphicles) and Emcee's A Slave Muses . (Hercules/Ares).

Regency Fuck is an AU (or uber, as they say in the Xenaverse) set in Regency England in which Iphicles, who's always been a model citizen, is slowly drawn into a seductive underworld of sex and power games by the mysterious Duke of Aresborough, much to the disapproval of his family. The sexual tension in this story just builds and builds--and I *love* how it plays with Regency romance conventions. (There is one drawing room scene that's a complete parody of proper parlor entertainment, and it's also wickedly hot).


In A Slave Muses , Hercules has been a slave for many years, and doesn't remember his past. Then he is sold to a gorgeous master who seems to know all about him. This is a long, lush, sensual story--one of the best Hercules/Ares stories I've read.
