Veronica Mars premiere
Ok, for Veronica Mars I'm going to do that annoying stream-of-consciousness-reactions-as- I- watch thing, since I have neither time nor brain capacity to write anything more coherent tonight:

Wow, that criminology thing was simply designed to make Veronica alienate the TA, right? Is he going to turn out to be the rapist? I do like that she's taking criminology, though.
I'm enjoying the LoVe while it lasts, but I'm glad I'm not committed to it--I just don't see a happy ending for these two.
Oh, Keith Mars, how are you so awesome?
The dorm room, as usual, is about 5 times the size of a real dorm room. Piz is much cuter in motion than the stills of him I've seen, though.
THE RA IS A BSG FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, perfectly dorky (oolong!)
OK, I realize they want to introduce the rape storyline early in the season, so I will forgive them for a violation of reality even bigger than the dorm room size: there's no way the students are organized enough to have a protest the first day of classes. Much less a counter protest.
That's a much faster resolution to the Kendall stuff than I was expecting
I don't have any real comments on Mac's silly roommate; I'm just so happy Mac is a regular now I don't care if her roommate is going to be a giant stereotype. Which will only be for 2 or 3 episodes on this show, anyway, and then they'll make us care about her or give her an interesting backstory. I actually really love that about this show.
Dammit, my cable went out in the middle of the Mac/Dick scene. Did I miss anything important? Fortunately it came back, or I would have been REALLY mad.
Shit, it just did it again--no picture, just sound. Dammit. WHat am I missing with Keith? This is annoying, it's only my CW channel--everything else is working fine.
Oh, Veronica, I love when you are smooth, getting into the TA's office.
It kills me when Logan is romantic. Though he also looks surprisingly good using a taser.
Oh, Kendall. I'm a little sad. And KEITH! ALONE IN THE DESERT! Don't hurt Keith!!
Dick staying with Logan? Oh, that's not going to be fun. But I do love sympathetic Logan, even though to be honest I do not feel much sympathy for Dick, despite everything.
OH. I guess my prediction about making the annoying roommate sympathetic turned out to be accurate really quickly. But that's a good way to bring Veronica into the case quickly.
In short, I LOVE VERONICA MARS!!
Many, many fabulous lines in this episode, so many I can't even keep up, but here are a few that I caught:
"I didn't think it was possible to make you more Butch?"
"What brings you to the good part of the wrong side of the tracks?"
"Wondertwin powers activate"
"You should seriously consider going pro." "What, and miss the college experience?"
The whole saturn/neptune/mars/uranus exchange cracked me up, but I didn't get it down, alas
