I've liked Nathan all along -- I'm fine with characters being ruthless and morally ambiguous/possibly evil, as long as they're competent at and self-aware about it and Nathan is both of those things -- but he was actually *charming* this week. He was charmed by Hiro despite himself (and I doubt that he actually thinks Hiro's nuts since he knows he flew; he knows he's got a weird ability and Nathan's simply too pragmatic to dismiss the possibility that other people might have them, too; he might *deny* it for face-saving and/or politcal reasons -- like he did with Peter -- but he's not going to *dismiss* it as a possibility because he's proof that it can happen).
And while I can't say that I actually *like* Peter yet, I am a lot less bored with his subplot than I have been lately.
For me, I think it's because he's active now. He's not just standing around talking about wanting to be special/believing that he's special. He's trying to *do* something about the fact that he really believes he's got a greater destiny. This week, specifically, future!Hiro actually affirmed that for Peter and, well, Peter put his money where his mouth is: he's stepping up, and it's hard to *not* respond positively to that.
I was intrigued by Matt's storyline this week, because it (combined with the Claire subplot) made clear that power-suppressing guy isn't actually power-suppressing guy, he's memory-sucking guy.
*nod* I'd also add that upon re-watching 1x03, I realized that if Sylar's the guy who tried to kidnap the little girl at FBI headquarters, then Sylar is white (or at least he is not black).
MindSupressing!Guy is a fantastic potentially-evil minion. He's incredibly efficient and has a powerfully menacing presence. I kind of love him, even though he may be in the service of evil.
Hiro&Ando continues to be love and I'm pretty sure the only reason Brodie's still alive is because Claire didn't tell Mr. Bennett that Brodie also *KILLED HER*.
