I love how clues are imbedded into the episodes, like when that cop asked Hiro what did he do with the brain, eat them? When they hinted at that it reminded me of this theory I heard that eating bone marrow and the brains of animals is supposed to heighten intelligence; so so gross that Sylar seems to be eating them. *shudder*
Yes, I love how they are dropping clues, too. It rewards the viewerss who are paying careful attention (i.e. us). And needless to say, the continuity on this show is spoiling me rotten.
And I agree with you that the backstory is definitely making things a lot less black and white, which I appreciate.
I was thinking about the deaths shown or referred to in this episode: Charlie, of course, but Nathan and Peter lost their dad, and we also saw two characters who are already dead (Jackie and Dr. Suresh), which means just about every hero has lost someone significant in their life at this point through death, except Niki, Matt and Isaac. I wonder if that will affect the predicted death next week?
