When you're the writers favorite character, you really can survive anything. :P

I really don't think Chloe's dead--there would have been no need to give her mutant powers if they just wanted her to die sacrificially for Lois. Clearly they want to do something with "good mutants" vs. Lex's army of mutants next season, and they're setting up Chloe to play a role in that.

OOH. Or MAYBE she's "dead" but Lex figures out a way to revive her and make her part of his army. That would actually be a really cool plot twist.
