Yeah, I can't imagine Lana or Chloe really being dead. Although I love the idea of Lana hiding out somewhere (maybe in Europe?) for the first part of next season, working behind the scenes to frame Lex. I don't know how she could be totally successful without a body or any DNA evidence being found, but I guess Lionel as an eyewitness would help.

I did feel kind of bad for that scientist Lex pushed toward the Phantom, and I would prefer a Lex who is loyal to his minions as long as they're loyal to him--but for some reason I just thought that was funny.
