Bionic Woman
I should be watching Smallville right now, but I have a stupid meeting in half an hour, so I'm still at work. All I can say is, if my VCR fails to record, I'm going to have WORDS with stupid people who plan stupid meetings on Thursday night. And for a change I was productive today and don't even have any piles of things to get through here.
So I've been killing time watching the second ep of "Bionic Woman" online.
bop_radar, I completely blame you for this, because you said you were going to keep watching it, and I actually really liked the second episode after hating the first one, so now I may have to watch every week, dammit.
I couldn't believe they killed off creepy boyfriend. FTW! And I actually kind of liked Jamie in this episode. It helps that I like the girl playing her sister, and I found all their scenes together really believable. And regardless of what a jerk he is as a person, Isaiah Washington is a good actor, and I actually think he makes a great trainer. I loved the scene in the bookstore with him and the dog.
I also think they did a good job showing Jamie's motivation for joining the organization--that scene with her friends who are going to grad school really did a good job of conveying how she feels left behind, and I also think having her help rescue a girl about her sister's age made it make sense for her to want to help.
Also? I really love the blond spy-woman (I'm too lazy to look up her name on IMDB right now), and I loved getting to see more about J. Kim. That was a fun training montage! Plus, J Kim + Katee Sackhoff=entirely made of win.
Dammit. I guess I have another show, at least temporarily.
And now I guess I'd better get ready for the meeting.
