Looking for MR/TW recs

I have a friend who discovered a love of Michael Rosenbaum/Tom Welling RPS via J2 stories, and is looking for more. Anyone have any good recs for this pairing? All I could point her to was the barista!verse and a couple of Henry Jones' old stories, and I know she's read a few things by [livejournal.com profile] tasabian--any other suggestions or recs?

My favorite Michael/Tom fic has always been Of Booty, Bondage, and Avril Lavigne (http://thamiris.livejournal.com/218085.html#cutid1) by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] thamiris. It is lovely and hot and ridiculously sweet. *g*

Yes! I remember [livejournal.com profile] thamiris having one or two that were incredibly hot and sweet.

I see you found the post. I hope at least some of these turn out to be new to you.

I can't believe I didn't think of Thamiris' stories! *Hangs head in shame*

[identity profile] supacat.livejournal.com 2008-10-19 10:06 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's funny, her stories are sort of "pre-CW slash", so I don't really associate her with that genre.

[identity profile] norwich36.livejournal.com 2008-10-18 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks! I had forgotten about that story, which I also loved.

It's definitely a great one, and - as others have already posted - there are several more of hers as well. Unfortunately, there have not been a lot of long, plotty MR/TW rps like there has been for J2. Have either of you browsed through [livejournal.com profile] sv_rps or looked on rec comms like [livejournal.com profile] crack_van.

Also, I forgot this one: at the movies (http://khohen1.livejournal.com/312067.html) by [livejournal.com profile] khohen1.

[livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor wrote some CW RPS. You can find them here -

Ha, you beat me :)

I have her stuff bookmarked here (http://members.shaw.ca/waytoomuchplor/index2.htm), and especially recommend the road not taken story, "You keep me High"

Yeah, "You Keep Me High" rocks.

Oh, yes, that's actually what I meant when I said "barista verse," I was just too lazy to dig up the link. I *love* that story--I remember when she was posting it serially and I couldn't wait for new parts.

ah...well, in SGA Barista immediately invokes slightly different connotations :)

I also always think of it as the gaybashing verse :)

[identity profile] norwich36.livejournal.com 2008-10-19 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, [livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor was calling her series the barista!verse at least 2 years before that SGA story--it's not my fault the term got coopted by SGA controversy. :D

Thank you!

Conspiracy of Two (http://tasabian.livejournal.com/31107.html) by [livejournal.com profile] tasabian is the only one I've actually read, but it's pretty good.

I think that's my favorite one. (At least so far.)

Kate has 2 MR/TW stories in here:

http://mskatej.livejournal.com/

...and the best Clex I ever read!

Aha! I'd read two of hers, but not the third.

[identity profile] norwich36.livejournal.com 2008-10-18 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. I had completely forgotten that Kate ever wrote RPS, so thanks for the reminder.

[livejournal.com profile] lexalicious70 and I wrote a couple ...

A Good Mistake (http://cinderella81.livejournal.com/226599.html) and Relax (http://cinderella81.livejournal.com/231266.html)

I'd read "Relax," but not "A Good Mistake."

Edie’s TW/MR RPS (http://www.monkeydrunky.com/edie/rps.htm)

I heartily recommend the story “Supposed to Be” and its sequel.

Darnit. I've read that one too! (Apparently fangirls are really good at getting everything in a fandom saved and tagged on delicious.)

Here's someone's memories with a bunch of Mike/Tom fics.
