Three utterly gorgeous short fics I read today that all ripped out my heart and stomped on it:

cjmarlowe, The Arithmetic of Damnation.(Gen) "Dean isn't turning 30 today." A heartwrenching look at how Dean's time in hell has changed things.
rivkat, Steadfast. In the aftermath of 4.14, Dean is still bleeding. Castiel tries to help. (Dean/Castiel, but this is not really a pairing fic).
vaingirl, Dulce et Decorum Est . (Gen) Angels clutch Dean in their hands and Sam doesn't have him anymore, but that's fine. Everything Sam does comes to nothing but Dean is nothing of Sam now. When the dark comes for Sam, the angels take Dean away. Poetic, lyrical, and unbelievably hurty.
And for a palate cleanser after all that angst, something light and fluffy:
chash, Call Me, Call Me (Jared/Jensen). Jensen is straight, so he doesn't quite understand why he gets flustered by that gorgeous guy at the gym.
