A brief interlude of "holy fuck"
Grey's Anatomy spoilers
Ok, I was spoiled that George was leaving, but I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO IRAQ. YOU CANNOT KILL GEORGE!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, I was resigned to him leaving because I knew the actor was feeling like he was getting shafted, and while going to Iraq seemed like a strange solution, it fit with the past few episodes. But NO!!! I thought the twist was going to be that the girl had actually pushed that poor guy, not that it was George!
I was expecting Izzie to die so that was less traumatic (if she is in fact dead, which I kind of doubt, but GEORGE!!)
Also, they made Bailey cry. NO FAIR. Especially when she was so jazzed about robot surgery in part one, which was really fun. No fair deciding her dilemma by emotional blackmail from her husband--NO FAIR.
The only parts of this that didn't make me cry were the Cristina-Meredith bits, which were really cute, especially the bit with the something borrowed/something blue, and the part where they finally hugged.
Oh, and the Mer/Der "wedding" was also fun, just because I love it when Meredith is all smiley--it totally transforms her.
Now I'm kind of afraid to watch SPN--too much emotion in one night might wipe me out.

How did he die?? I haven't watched the show since a few episodes into season 4. They killed Izzie, too? Did either of them have to find out about the other one's death, 'cause that would be so hurty for me.
SPN was actually very emotional for me, so I'm just warning you. If I'd been less knock down tired I probably would have cried in places. :( It was brilliant, though.

The George thing was awful awful. Basically, he reveals he just enlisted in the army (there was a long plot arc leading up to this; it made a certain amount of sense though it was still fairly out of left field) and you think he's gone off to a long surgery. Then a little later this horrible horrible trauma case comes in--a guy pushed a girl out of the way of a truck and got horribly, disfiguringly mangled and his body basically destroyed, and no one thinks he will live and he barely even looks human, and there are lots of surgeries on him that are just sort of backdrop to the relationship stuff going on in the background. He can't speak or write, though at one point he tries to communicate with Meredith but can't hold a pen. No one thinks he's going to make it. And only at the very end of the ep doesn Meredith figure out it's George, and we last see him crashing in surgery, just after the chief has revealed he gave George the day off since he's going into the army the next day.
Meanwhile, Izzie had skin cancer that metastatized and gave her lots of hallucinations of Denny for many episodes. (The hallucinations were how she figured out she was sick). Her condition has been getting worse for the last 6 eps, so much so that she and Alex actually got married in the last ep since it looked like she would die. It appeared today she had had successful brain surgery to remove a tumor, but at the end of the episode she too crashed.

That's all I got. Wow.

I was such a wreck when this episode was over; I mean, it had some fun moments in there (Bailey with the lightsaber noises! Cristina and Izzie! Cristina and Meredith!), but DUDE. When Izzie and George met in the elevator, I was just beyond trying to disguise my sniffles. They can't kill them! It's just Not On.

I totally think one of them will actually die, though. My money is on George, and that makes me deeply sad.
Oh, God, Bailey with the lightsaber noises and the absolute glee over the surgery robot was the cutest thing ever, though.
