Yeah, I disagree with the rest of fandom about Cortese's acting ability--I think she was fine (even if quite different from KC)and like you I think she's been dropping subtle hints about her own agenda for a while.

I'm still worried about Lucifer possibly possessing Sam, and what that will mean, though I hope you're right that they're not going there.
