A fic rec that is not SPN!

Don't everyone drop dead from shock or anything.

I adore Brimstone fic, even though I haven't ever been able to actually see the show--all you really need to know about it is the Ezekiel Stone is a cop who went to hell for killing his wife's rapist, and he has a chance to get out for good if he hunts down 113 escaped demons. Well, and it doesn't hurt to know that Zeke is played by Peter Horton (who for me is always "that cute guy from 30something") and the devil is played by John Glover (who you all know I worship. Umm, in the non-devil-worshipping way).

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] lonelywalker writes excellent Brimstone fic, but her latest, Pandaemonium (Ezekiel/Lucifer) really blew me away with its fascinating depiction of hell and why souls end up torturing each other there.

Awww, thank you for the rec!

The whole series is on YouTube, by the way. There's even a playlist set up.

BRIIIMSTONE! I should have figured there'd be fic, but I kind of never thought of it before. *glomps*
Thank you!

Oh, if you've never encountered Brimstone fic before, definitely read through lonelywalker's tags, but also this Ezekiel/Lucifer ship manifesto has links to pretty much all of my favorite stories at the end of the (rather long) manifesto: http://community.livejournal.com/ship_manifesto/48974.html

Another good place to look for Brimstone fic is the Yuletide archive.

...and the Brimstone comm, [livejournal.com profile] lucifen (although it hasn't been very active of late).

And here I am thinking I couldn't love you more! I adore Brimstone fic--when I first came into on-line fandom, I was floored that there were *stories*!!! And now, you rec new ones! Gosh, these are just my lucky days!

I didn't know you liked Brimstone! Did you read the really cool SPN/Brimstone crossover that was a story in this year's Yuletide? It's here: http://yuletidetreasure.org/archive/68/26views.html

oh, cool! I didn't read any of the Yuletide offerings this year, so thanks muchly!

I have a friend who adored Brimstone, but I don't believe she's ever read any of the fanfic. I'll have to send her this link. Thanks!

Sending you an email about the tix, btw. I'm so excited!

Yay about the tickets!

And wow, have I really never recced Brimstone before? Suddenly all these people I never knew were fans are popping up.
