smidirini (Jared/Jensen) is a great J2 AU: Five years ago a serial killer changed the lives of homicide detective Jensen Ackles and crime reporter Jared Padalecki. Now it seems that serial killer has returned, and the new string of murders brings the two together for the first time since their relationship collapsed five years ago. The murder mystery is very suspenseful, and I really enjoyed the rebuilding of their relationship.
