A few Yuletide recs

I had insomnia last night, and so was up at 4:30 a.m. reading Yuletide stories--which seems to have been a fortuitous time in terms of server load; by 8 a.m. my time I couldn't get anything to load anymore, and then family Christmas craziness took over, and now I'm going to be netless for three days for more family travel. SO just a few recs of the stories I did manage to get through; I'm not sure I'll have time to do any more this year before the reveal.

Conveniently Yours, Blood Ties(Tanya Huff) (gen). I have to confess my favorite part of this story was the stealth SPN crossover. Though the banter was also pretty good.

Support your local vampire , Blood and Smoke "verse (Tanya Huff), Mike/Vicki, Mike/Henry, Henry/Vicki, Henry/Mike/Vicki, Tony/Lee. I really liked this one because it captured the hilarious chaos that always surrounds Tony in this book series. Somedays it just doesn't pay to have friends who are vampires, especially when you've haven't really told your boyfriend about your past.

Every Day is A Reminder (Calvin & Hobbes, Calvin/Susie). Calvin growing up, getting a little sister and a whole new attitude toward Susie. I loved this.

The Lengthy Dimly Lit Coffee Break of the Psyche . (Calvin&Hobbes, Calvin/Susie). Calvin still talks to Hobbes, but with Susie's help he's trying to be a grown up in the real world. There's a great twist at the end of this one.
