Apparently, I'm 85% Irish. Which is actually about how Irish I really am, so that works out well. (Though I kind of cheated on the alcohol questions).

You're 85% Irish

Congratulations, you're a shining example of an Irish lass (or lad).
There's hardly anyone more Irish than you!

I've been back from my 4-day weekend for several days, but I feel like I'm still catching up. I was in San Francisco, visiting an old friend from college who just moved there. We ate *far* too much delicious food, most of it Indian, since there is no Indian restaurant where I live; I spent *way* too much money on books the day we went to Berkeley; and we went to a great drag king show, "Cirque du So Gay," which featured a hilarious Harry Potter skit (it was Harry/Ron, though Snape was also in the scene). I also got to see a couple friends from college who live in the Bay Area or are visiting there, so all in all, it was a really nice trip.

Yay for the Irish! I am only 45%, but there's been many the time I'm sure I was more. *g*

I love San Francisco! It sounds like you had a good time. Welcome back!

Hee! Ah, yes. [livejournal.com profile] voldything made that for me whilst I was drunk. I love it madly. *g*

LOL, there’s not a trace of Irish in me but I love the statement of maybe not believing in God but believing in the infallibility of the Pope — so true even for non-Irish. And where may I see this Cirque du So Gay? Oh, if you’re ever in the Bay Area/Sacramento areas, give me a holler and let’s meet up.

We saw Cirque du So Gay at some gay bar in Oakland--I don't remember the name (something like Bench and Board, I think)--but it was a mix of several local drag troupes and a visiting one from Boston, and I honestly don't know if the Harry Potter bit was by the locally-based groups or the Boston one. We found it in one of the free SF alternative papers, so if you check last week's calendar section for Sunday night you'll probably find it.

I don't get down to the Bay Area *too* often, since I don't have a car, but my friend wants me to visit more often, so I'll definitely let you know the next time I visit.

Here's a link describing the drag show: http://queer.berkeley.edu/news/display.php3?newsid=2375

Heee. I don't need to take that test. I'm not Irish. I'm Scots.
I missed you, btw!
Sounds like a good trip--I would rush to Indian food too if I didn't have it near me. I looove Indian food.

The parts of me that aren't Irish are Scots, I believe, with a wee bit of English thrown in as well.

Oh, I miss Indian food *fiercely*, but for some reason Indian restaurants don't seem to stay in business around here.

Hey, I saw on your journal it was comment day for the mas, so I have a question. What is the mas?

Hee! Bunch of fangirls really. Hard to describe... mostly like a friendly place for newcomers to fandom. It's a 'be friendly and squee together' community. Founded by [livejournal.com profile] nehellania and [livejournal.com profile] toadstoolsmiles, who nabbed me in its early stages. They organise things like 'Comment Day' and generally support diversity and friendliness in fandom, and they're very welcoming. A good place to go to ask for advice in all matters LJ too!

Thanks. Good to know!
