How close do you think last night's finale is to Kripke's original ending when he had a firm 5-year plan?
Mr. Kripke had no five year plan other than to get renewed after each season. He pulled this finale out of his ass butt and you can tell by the brown streaks on it. Disclaimer: I did not like this finale.
How do you feel about Castiel and Bobby's fate?
Isn't the main premise of a supposedly scary movie or TV show is that Characters are in serious jeopardy and they do die and get maimed. That's what makes it scary. Anything can happen and consequences cannot be escaped. This finale blew that to Hell with Lucifer and Michael. Again, check the brown streaks on it.
Every writer is God.
Becky broke up with Chuck. Are you going to believe anything that Chuck says after this episode? Writers and Gods lie as much as any angel or demon. The soldier in the ashtray? Please! As I recall that was where Dean sat in the Season 1 finale in the truck and car wreck. That soldier was lost then, if it was ever there in the first place.
This episode just exasperated me. Good thing that we probably won't see Season 6 until 2011. I'll have forgotten it by then. The last five or six episodes of this season lost all of its narrative threads and most of the characterization. And I include that awful 100th episode in that evaluation. Mr. Kripke couldn't wait to get out and it showed.
