How long have I been in fandom: Depends on how you count. My first solo fannish activity was addiction to Star Trek novels when I was around 14, which was the early 80s. I first interacted with other fans on usenet in the early 90s in Star Trek, X-files, and Highlander fandoms. Then I lurked for a very long time and really only got involved in lj fandom about a year ago.

First fannish crush: Mr. Spock (dreamy sigh)

Character I love that most people probably don't: Lionel Luthor.

Pairing I love that most people probably don't: Lionel/Martha

First slash couple I shipped: Mulder/Krycek, because even though I was in ST fandom first, I actually encountered Mulder/Krycek before I ever saw any Kirk/Spock

Character whose life I'd like to have for just one day: That depends. Do I have to leave their life intact, or can I completely overturn it? If I have to leave their life relatively intact, Chloe Sullivan, because I totally love and admire her, and would really enjoy being her for a day, as long as I wasn't being kidnapped by mutants or something. If I had free reign to totally mess with their life, I'd be Clark, and seduce Lex. (Which Clark would eventually see was a *good* thing).

Why I became an SV fan: I watched the Pilot because it was on right after Buffy. I thought, at the time, it was ok, but it didn't really grab me (even though I kept watching) until Te started posting in her blog about how sexy Lex was, and started writing stories about it, and I couldn't believe I hadn't seen it myself. I've been hooked since then.

Favorite snack: Currently, curry flavored naan with Trader Joe's Cheese style yogurt. Yum, yum, yum.

Place I lived once that I'd love to be able to return to: I lived in Bloomington, Indiana for almost a decade, and I completely loved it. At the moment I wouldn't consider moving back because the job market sucks, and it is a red state, and all my closest friends moved away--but I still love it and go to visit every so often. I love the Indiana University campus, and the architecture, and all the coffeehouses and bookstores and the amazing music scene and the small town feel.

Random fact about me in real life: I'm the oldest of five kids.

Ooh, I love Severus and Snarry too! And I can't believe I left out Clex when explaining why I became an SV fan.

I think S5 is excellent, though it's not particularly Clexy (unless you like enemies slash, which I do).

There is a lot of the same dynamic in the Harry/Severus as the Clark/Lex, and I think that appealed to me...uh, right after those hot bods and steamy looks (which you don't get in HP).

You're welcome :-) It really did get crazy and I had to shut down e-mail comments when it reached 900. I think it's somewhere over 1300 comments now. Insane! *laughs*

I have to say memes like that are what make fandom fun and show-off the coolness of the fen (not even one wanky reply logged) :-) *hearts fandom*

Bloomington is really beautiful, isn't it? My hubby, Lee works for IU Southeast so we go up there sometimes for his work. I really love it.

Why I became an SV fan: the amazing chemistry between Clark & Lex. Plus, you could get lost in Lex's eyes; MR made him completely real and three-dimensional.

Place I lived once that I'd love to be able to return to: I've always lived in KY but I fell in love with Flagstaff AZ when we visited there and would like to go back sometime.

Random fact about me in real life: I'm left-handed but mouse right-handed.

I didn't know you were a fellow Spock lover! (Embarassing factoid: before I knew any other fans in real life, I was so vocal about my Spock love that all the folks who lived on my floor in college started sending me cards from Spock asking me to bear his children. I think I still have one of them saved, somewhere).

And boy, I really agree with you about getting lost in Lex's eyes.

Ooh, Julian. I had a great deal of Julian love myself, back when DS9 was on. And I'm pretty excited at the prospect of canonical Lexana, myself.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the way the canon Lexana is being developed. So far it's actually making sense for them to turn to one another so I'm hoping the writers don't screw it up! (And I know I'm a few episodes behind given that we get the 100th episode here tonight).

First fannish crush: If I say it's a cartoon character, will I be banished? *G* First human fannish crush was Lee Tergesen though.

Character I love that most people probably don't: Fred (Angel). Irritating quirks and all.

I've been a fan of MR since Zoe, too--I thought the show was kind of lame, but I watched it for him.

Oh, man, I *loved* MR as Jack. The show was lame, but he was gem. I kind of wish the WB would release it on DVD.

Did it even run for a whole season? I can't remember. But considering it had Selma Blair and Azure Skye in addition to MR, you would think the DVD might do pretty well.

How long have I been in fandom: 2 years last month!

First fannish crush: Ever, or since I've been in fandom? My first "star" crush was Jonathan Taylor Thomas (shutup), I guess.

Character I love that most people probably don't: Lois, absolutely! I love her in all her incarnations, and I think SV Lois is adorable!

Pairing I love that most people probably don't: Actually, I'll ship just about anyone. Clois I guess would be less popular, since so many people dislike Lois.

First slash couple I shipped: Clark/Lex all the way!

Character whose life I'd like to have for just one day: Lex. Just ... because.

Why I became an SV fan: My little brother made me watch an episode during spring break one year, and I *gasp* enjoyed it! I remember refusing to watch it when it started cause it sounded stupid :P I was already around TWoP at that time because of Gilmore Girls, so I checked to see if they had an SV section, and lo and behold, the slash appeared!

Favorite snack: Chocolate. Barring that, I could live on crackers and cheese.

Place I lived once that I'd love to be able to return to: *sniffs* Well, my parents are moving so I'd like to live in our almost-ex-house. Or in France. Yeah, France would be better.

i won't take up space with all my answers to questions, but i first got into fanfic for Snarry (because of rickman), switched after a year or two to Clex, and now dip into Mulder/Krycek and even Skinner/Krycek. that alexei, he's so hot.

Nope, we did not, but I love the pictures!

And hey, take up as much space as you want. Did I know you were into Snarry? Because, oh, yeah--Alan Rickman is amazingly hot.
(I was more a Mulder gal than a Krycek gal, but I like him too.)

How long have I been in fandom: Well, you might count since I was like 9. Beyond just playing Star Wars, I wrote my first fanfic back then, just after ESB came out. It was awful! It had a white tiger and the main girl was Han's sister. Oy! I wasn't an active member of fandom until first year of college, though, when I joined Starfleet.

First fannish crush: Luke Skywalker

Pairing I love that most people probably don't: Heh. Lex and Hudson. Oh, you mean a real shippy couple?? Lexana

Why I became an SV fan: I actually didn't come into it until Jitters aired. My fiance and I were big DC comics fans, and we were scared of what they would do to the canon, but then he told me he watched one night after Buffy and I had to watch it, just for Lex, because he knew I'd fall in love with him. And sure enough, after one episode... *G*

Favorite snack: Snack? Hmmm. Don't snack much. I guess I'd say Swedish Fish.

Place I lived once that I'd love to be able to return to: San Francisco. I miss the bay. I miss the excitement. I miss the laid back, yet cosmopolitan feel of the city.

Oh, I think your nine-year-old story sounds too cute for words! And thinking about it, my love for Han Solo might actually predate my love for Spock.

And I completely agree with you--it would be very interesting to be Lana for a day. I've never been worshipped by anyone, so it would be a new experience.

Random fact about me in real life: I'm crazy, like MAD crazy about guinea pigs...I have two and they are SO incredibly spoiled. They're my babies.

I think there's a growing Lexana contingent in SV fandom, actually--I am certainly looking forward to it.
