3 things make a post

1. I am not dead, though I see I haven't updated in over a month. I guess I haven't been feeling chatty? And there has been some serious work stuff and RL stuff that I'm still processing and may or may not post about sometime.

2. I'm sending good thoughts to everyone experiencing snowpocalypse and/or huge cyclonic activity [what weather gods have we offended lately?]. I hope you all stay safe.

3. I really wish more people on my f-list watched The Good Wife, because honestly right now it is my favorite show on television.

+ I watched two episodes back-to-back tonight, since I was out of town when the last new one aired and hadn't gotten around to watching it, and I am SO VERY GLAD that Diane and Will are now back together conspiring against Derrick, because it hurt my heart a little that they were breaking up the firm. Though I honestly was a little excited at the idea of Diane, Kalinda, Alicia and Cary in their own firm, I still like Will, so ultimately I'm happy they're back together again.

+ Oh my GOD the Kalinda v. Blake thing is going to KILL ME WITH THE SUSPENSE. I loved how Kalinda basically blackmailed Will into supporting her last episode, but this episode Blake was up again, and all I can say is Kalinda better come out on top at the end of this storyline, or I will be both furious and heartbroken. Ugh, Blake is such a little toad I kind of want to stomp on his face. Or sic Eli on him, at any rate.

+Speaking of which, Eli was COMPLETELY AWESOME tonight, and I don't even feel ashamed of loving every moment of his pwning the obnoxious girlfriend, because she is completely annoying. And I loved that he reassured Alicia that Zach didn't actually get her pregnant. (I actually think Zach DID get her pregnant--otherwise why the whole unprotected sex plot last season? or maybe it was last fall, the eps run together in my head--but I'm happy that Alicia was happy).

+Also, bonus points to Peter for choosing his family ahead of the campaign once, even if it was just part of his plan to get Alicia back, because that had to be a sacrifice.

+I'm a little worried about what happens to Eli if Peter's campaign is done, though. I would hate to lose him!

+Cary was completely on fire tonight. I sometimes feel bad rooting for him, since I generally empathize with Lockhardt/Gardner, but I love when he plays hardball, and I liked the fact that he refused to back down on his own prosecution, though I did wonder if he was actually trying to get fired since he now knows he has a backup plan, and maybe he doesn't want to put Kalinda in danger? I'm telling you, with every episode I ship Cary/Kalinda harder. It's hard for me to remember I didn't used to like Cary very much, because now he's one of my favorite characters, and I think he's a total hotass, too.

I also loved his new investigator friend, the stay-at-home dad. I hope he's going to be a recurring character, because just in tonight's episode he brought such a great blend of humor, talent, and craziness, what with the ringtone on his phone, going after that speeder in his neighborhood, and pwning everyone while taking care of his daughter.

His co-counsel was also pretty awesome, actually. She's another character I hope we see more of.

And it's great that they're finally letting Cary win cases against Lockhardt/Gardner, and that they're drawing more attention to the fact that L/G is often on the wrong side. It would be kind of hilarious, I think, if Cary ended up coming back to L/G and Alicia went to work for the states' attorney. I guess that would only happen if Peter by some chance is elected, though. OR, maybe Peter will get elected and Cary will be working for him and Alicia against him. THAT would be an interesting dynamic.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

Some of us do, we're just really bad at posting. :-)

This, OMG. Whats-his-face has done an excellent job of acting, because I hate Blake's guts and I really liked his character on FNL. Kalinda had better win.

Eli and Peter were awesome last night. Yay! Also Cary was really great, and I really liked his co-consul and the new investigator also.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

ME TOO!!!!! \o/

Oh, well I'm glad some people are at least watching. And yeah, Blake just makes me want to smack him. (I didn't watch FNL, so I don't have any basis of comparison). But I'm definitely loving most of the other characters.
