They post Smallville eps to the CW website, right? My local CW channel went out for about 35 minutes, so I didn't get to see tonight's episode, DAMMIT.

On the other hand, as I was fooling around online waiting to see if the channel would come back, I ran across that SUPER EXCITING CASTING SPOILER FOR THE SERIES FINALE!!!!!, and now I am SO happy!

MICHAEL ROSENBAUM IS COMING BACK FOR THE FINALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm overjoyed, and so happy that this means they'll be able to end things right.

PLEASE don't spoil me for tonight's episode in this post, even though I know it is Luthorcentric--I'm not going to be able to watch it online probably until Sunday.

That said, my experience is that CW put up Thursday episodes on the website around Sunday afternoon. So try there either Sunday or Monday.

I've really been meaning to get back into Smallville and I think this might be the impetus I needed. Yay!

While I haven't loved every episode this season, they're doing some stuff with anti-vigilante activism and Lex clones (2 separate storylines) that have been really interesting. Plus really good Clark/Lois stuff, if that's a draw for you. And last night's episode, which I didn't get to see yet, had Martha's return, plus Lionel and a Lex clone, so I am really excited to see it.

I think Season 6 is the last season that I've seen...would you recommend watching everything up to this current season, or are there ones that I can miss? I seem to remember hearing a bunch of naysaying around the 7 & 8, maybe, but I wasn't really plugged in enough to be able to parse whether it was legit crit or not.

The anti-vigilante stuff AND the clone stuff sound like they're might be exactly the kinds of things that I can enjoy the hell out of. And I love me some Clark/Lois! That definitely is a(nother) draw.

To be honest, I think you can just jump in this season. There's some Chloe stuff that probably makes a little more sense if you watched last season, but honestly I think it can stand alone pretty well. I mean, I watched the last three seasons, but they haven't made much of an impression on me, except that Lois got really awesome, Lex left, Tess came as his "replacement" (though she is more of a good guy than he was at the end, and also quite awesome as a character herself), and Oliver Queen plays a fairly big role.

Wow, just wow. I can't remember the last time I watched SV, but a chance to see Lex and the Clex one more time should be awesome. Thanks for posting the news and I hope you manage to catch the ep you missed!
