My other fandom rec today is Firefly. You may have noticed we've moved into fandoms I don't know a lot about (because, dude, even though I've been reading fanfic since around 1992, 28 fandoms--for 28 days of smutrecs-- would still be a lot!) We've moved onto the realm of "fandoms I know mostly because cool people on my flist write in them.") It's true that I enjoyed about 5 episodes of Firefly before I saw the handwriting on the wall, and I've seen the film, but in terms of fiction I mainly read what musesfool writes or recommends.

So I'm recommending her a lovely River/Mal piece by musesfool, "Beautiful Solution" , River/Mal

This is a *scorchingly* hot and lovely River/Mal piece, set post-Serenity. Each time he touches her, he swears it will be the last, that he's strong enough to say no, and she tells him that the strength in him, the strength she needs, is to say yes, to give what she takes as a gift, and take what she gives as a blessing .
