yep, you should totally try to do that, when you have time!!
we really need more recs over at the coms, so that more new fans who joined fandom, can discover old and new stuff.
its sometimes a bit depressing to see, how much SPN or SGA have , and I am not expecting SV ever have that much again , all the squeeee!, but still, we are pretty much alive, and should try our best to keep the fun ongoing for old and new fans/authors :)
