Exile was clark's blazing glory, physically, from my p.o.v. he didn't have that hang-dog look he has to wear around lana, wasn't repressed by jonathan, was just pure id and libido. and they photographed him wonderfully, in blue light and so on. looooved his hair and clothes. (no wonder lex gave him the long once-over when he walked in in that coat!)
