evil GIP

I couldn't resist, because I don't know what's making me laugh harder tonight--those pictures of mountain man Tom, or everybody's responses to them.

And as long as I'm already posting icons of evil, here's a bunch of Lana and Clana ones I was playing with--along with one Lex one-- behind the cut.

I'm not sure why anyone would want these--they're mostly practice with slanty text and coloration--but if you want one feel free.

I'm with you, hon! I've been worried all Season 5. He's puffing. I don't care how unpopular an opin that is in fandom. The evidence is objective. And this worries me. Fame is cruel, and he *will* get dropped if this keeps on. The beard I can deal with, it's the underlying puffiness that bothers me. And I worry because I'm fond of him.

Of course it's a good thing he's male... if one of the girls had puffed up in similar fashion, they'd be canned mercilessly. Not that I want an anorexic Tom, but I just really wish Michael would take him aside and get him to the gym occasionally. He plays superman-to-be. It's kind of *his job* to maintain his body. And if it's depression-related, then Michael, you are not pulling your weight as a friend, yo!!

*is fretting way too much over this*

yes, exactly. that would be tragic. i'm fond of him too -- he seems like a very likable person.

oh yeah, if it were one of the girls, there'd be horrible fat jokes about her and much cruelty, and she'd be gone. :/

i'm sorry you're fretting, but in a funny way it makes me feel better about how i'm fretting too!

Hee! It's good to have company in one's fretting. It is absurd to worry this much about a celebrity. Really. What's it to me?! But somehow I fret. Especially with the SPN boys all over the place, and now Brandon Routh stealing his limelight.

But yes, it also makes me notice the double standards--the media would be a lot tougher on him if he was a girl. The skinniness of female leads often worries me also.

Apparently I'm prone to angst about TV stars' body image issues! Hee!
