Hmm. Well, it's not like he actual conceived the plotlines of any of those stories. (I'm looking forward to the "Thirst" commentary on the DVD--apparently the network basically asked them to write a Halloween episode, and Almiles think it was their silliest episode of the season. Though I thought it was actually kind of fun, myself). And "Ageless" bears no resemblance to the script he submitted with zombies--he talked about that in his discussion on TWOP, I think. I agree that Tomb could have been better, and Spell was definitely not the highlight of season 4.
However, he also wrote "Mortal, "Splinter" and "Lockdown," which are three of my favorite episodes this season. I think the longer he's been on the show, the more he has improved.
See, I give him props for his ability to keep his cool on myspace in the face of a coordinated Clana offensive that was really obnoxious and over the top. And I like getting to hear about behind-the-scenes stuff, so I like reading his blog.
