Being metafandomed is fun (I think this is the first time I've ever hit page two in comments, not counting the SV social), but I spent so much time responding to comments I didn't get much of a chance to read fic this weekend, even though the new Clexfest stories were just posted. The one Clexfest story I did get a chance to read I highly recommend: drakeofdross's Superconductor. It's a great historical AU in which Clark is a train conductor in the Old West, and he comes up against Lionel Luthor's gang of train robbers. It's Clex, and I highly recommend it, though for the sensitive on my flist I suppose I should warn that it contains cross-dressing.

I also discovered a Superman Returns slash community last night: sr_slash. There's a Clark/Richard series there by fyredancer that I'm really enjoying. The latest part is here, and it has links to all the earlier parts at the top. I still think my preferred Superman Returns pairing is Clark/Lois/Richard, but when I can't get that I'll happily take Clark/Richard.

Richard White is Lois' fiance in the movie--Perry White's nephew, and the person the world thinks is Jason's dad. The actor who played him is James Marsden.
