no, i see your point. they're too far apart in worldview, and alex is in too much danger skulking around to be with him. but they sure make a hot couple!

i tried several different kinds of LOTR stories and just didn't respond to them. one long story that paired boromir (who somehow didn't die) and faramir was interesting but veered off into the goofy all too often, especially when aragorn, arwen, and eowyn got in on the action. it began to feel almost blasphemous to me. *g* i scurried back to HP and then discovered SV. mmm. :)
