A light at the end of the tunnel

The major part of my work insanity is nearing an end, and I will soon have free time again, at least on the weekends. Yay! I am so far behind on movies I want to see, and now I can't decide if I should work my way forward chronologically (lest Iron Man leave the theaters as newer blockbusters get released) or if I want to go see the new Indiana Jones movie right away. Or maybe Prince Caspian. So many decisions! It's been ages since there was more than one new movie I wanted to see, so I'm out of the habit of making hard decisions.

I was torn between Iron Man and Prince Caspian. I don't even consider Indy because the theaters are going to be ridiculous this weekend. Perhaps an R rated movie would be okay on opening weekend, but PG-13? You'll have to deal with kids and crowds.

I think Iron Man will be around for a while. In fact, I'm going to see it tonight, as the big theater will replace it with Indy tomorrow and I want to see it on the giant screen. It's a travesty I haven't gone to see it yet, as the Uptown theater (http://cinematreasures.org/theater/70/) is across the street from my apartment—ie a 60-second walk once I exit my building's front door. 30 seconds if I hit the light properly.

I haven't seen much response about Prince so I picked it.

Yeah, someone at a dinner I went to tonight was raving about how good Caspian is. And the Indy movie will be around for a while, so I may wait until the crowds go down.
