Hi -- hope you don't mind me randomly popping in here. I'm one of the co-owners of Dreamwidth (synecdochic's other half), and we tend to scour the Internets for mention of Dreamwidth to answer questions and generally (try to) be useful.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that while we expect fannish people to be among our earliest adopters, the site is not for fandom. It's for everybody. Personally, I have never read or written fic in my life and can't really tell you what the fascination is with putting Daniel and Jack in the same room together, and I am half-owner! :)
