Yeah, I loved the real bonding with the detective. I also really loved how Julianna's character's experience not only helped her understand the client she was defending, but also give her real-life strategies for coping with the public shaming she was experiencing.

Still, like you said, it looks like it'll mainly be a boring lawyer show. Blah.
