I'm not a big fan of Glee, or much of a Kurt/Finn shipper, but I love Aristide's writing so I took a chance on Summer 2010, and wow was it ever worth it. This is a sweet, incredibly happymaking romance, as Finn becomes closer friends with Kurt after being dumped by Rachel, and gradually starts to realize his feelings are more than friendship. I think what I loved most about this story was how well it captured the emotional intensity of first love.

I like Glee; I don't love it (though I think the cast is ridiculously appealing). But man--I loved this story. Just adored it. Thanks so much for the rec.

Yeah, it's really a story that transcends the show itself, while at the same time managing to remain true to the characters. Glad you liked it.
