No, actually the party is in the comments of this entry! Come and join the fun and meet new people in SV fandom. I would especially like to encourage you quiet folks lurking in the back--even those of you without livejournals of your own--to drop by and introduce yourselves. We're all a pretty friendly bunch here, and we like to make new friends. Fandom is more fun when you get involved and meet people, so why don't you stop by and say hi?

Oh NO! That's awful. I have lived through many pet tragedies myself. Eep! It's awful when pets turn carniverous on each other... my dog ate my budgie, my goldfish ate each other, and my best friends' budgies ate each other too. Why is the animal world so cruel?! I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

Anyway, I was a big HL fan in the late 90's too. Loved the D/M - my first slash-pairing actually.

Okay, well, the episodes in which Flash features prominently are "Brave and the Bold," "Eclipsed," "The Ties that Bind," "Flash and Substance," and "Great Brain Robbery." I have "Flash and Substance," which features Flash's rogues, such as Mirror Master and Captain Boomerang and "Great Brain Robbery," where Flash and Lex switch bodies. I've also got the Teen Titans episode, "Lightspeed," where Kid Flash (voiced by MR) makes an appearance.

Additionally, I've got "Comfort and Joy," a Christmas episode made up of three stories, with one centered around Flash. There's also "Only a Dream," which has all seven members of the original team. And I can direct you to YouTube links that have "A Better World" (featuring evil versions of the Justice League) and "Hereafter" (with the "death" of Superman). Tell me which ones interest you.

RL has prevented me from going through the SV social, but I'm glad I stopped to read yours. I completely relate with 1,2,3, and 5. Sheesh, we're practically twins, what with the TW love and the Clana hate and agreeing that Transferrence Red and Exile (all episodes where Tom gets to be different) was awesome with the half naked Tom and his flashing eyes (I love when his eyes flash in anger, *rrraaarrr*).

And as for the accidental job? Yeah, me too. I'm a "Graphics Specialist" with a Philosophy degree. Go figure.

I totally agree with you about the eps when Tom gets to be different. I love it when he gets to show his acting skills and I can point to friends and say, SEE! Plus, Tommy is so sexy when he's bad.

Dude, *word* re: Dawn. She must've been posing for an ALL BOYS photo op that didn't make print when they needed the ok for the logo. That CW eyesore sucks all kinds of ass - and not in a tickles-me kind of way.


Can you believe that Tyra Banks actually said that logo was 'hot'? Girlfriend's brain must be fried from doing the talk show and ANTM.

I also agree with you about Lexana and like S5 Clana. Mortal and the two of them? So cyoot! I think the sweetness of that relationship (or Clark's happiness in the relationship, hmm) made me go *mwah*.

Seeing Clark being happy is like the best dessert in the whole world - granted, it's fun to watch him suffer because he does it so pretty but he's Superman, there has to be some happiness in his life, otherwise what's with all the saving of the world if all it does is make him soooo miserable?

I'm in my late 40s, and have been married to the same man for over 25 years. I've been a slasher all my life: when I was a child, it was always two men I imagined hugging and kissing, long before I found out just what came after that. I have a cat who carries socks.

2. Likes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff):

I love Lex. I love CLex. I can enjoy Bruce/Lex, as long as it doesn't interfere with the CLex (that is, as long as Lex hasn't met Clark yet, or is with Bruce because he thinks he can't have Clark). And I can sometimes appreciate Lionel/Lex, if it's written as undeniably twisted and wrong.

3. Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff) :

As a general rule, I don't like threesomes. And I usually can't stand Clark with anyone but Lex. Also, I have a problem with characters who are nasty to Lex, so I've never liked Jonathan, I stopped liking Pete when he started griping about Lex (and that was AFTER Lex had saved his life in "Jitters"!), and I stopped liking Chloe when she climbed on the 'Lex is evil' bandwagon. Also, lately, I just want to smack Clark.

4. What got you interested in Smallville?

Not really being a Superman fan, I'd paid no attention to the ads for SMALLVILLE before it aired. But I happened to flip to the right channel just as the pilot episode was starting, so I decided -- for lack of anything better to do -- to take a look. As soon as I'd seen the accident that introduced Clark and Lex, I was hooked. The kiss of life before they'd even been introduced? MR's gorgeous Lex? TW's ultra-pretty Clark? Oh, yeah!

5. What are your favorite SV episodes?

The pilot, Jitters, Shattered, Asylum, Transference.

6. What SV fanfic do you reread most often?

"Divergence" and the rest of the 'Identical' series by Lanning Cook, "Planets Crashing to Dust" by Brighid, "Incarnadine" and "Switch: A Comedy of Terror" by RivkaT, "Aphrodesia" and "That Old Schizophrenic Jealousy" by Lenore, "Along Came a Spider" by Thamiris, "Champagne Wishes" by Te, "Closer to Breathing" by Jenn, "No Obstacle" and "Backfired" by Bren Antrim, "Mouse: A Definition" by Henry Jones, Jr.

I'm on medication for OCD. I have virtually no maternal instincts when it comes to human children, but very strong maternal instincts when it comes to cats. And I hate moving (and travel!) so much that, if I were given a billion dollars, I'd still stay right where I am.

Hi! I'm sorry to hear about your husband. Italian is a pretty language, but I only know the music related words (played the flute for 6 years). Lana is such a boore.
Shaggy and exceedingly sensuous Clark is definately one of my favorite looks for him.
