No, actually the party is in the comments of this entry! Come and join the fun and meet new people in SV fandom. I would especially like to encourage you quiet folks lurking in the back--even those of you without livejournals of your own--to drop by and introduce yourselves. We're all a pretty friendly bunch here, and we like to make new friends. Fandom is more fun when you get involved and meet people, so why don't you stop by and say hi?

1. Tell us something about yourself: My name is Kate, my birthday is on september 11 and I'm turning 30 this year.
2. Likes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff): I am completely and utterly obsessed with Clex. They consume me in ways bordering on unhealthy. I'm monofannish, and it's all about Smallville. I am a *fan* of other shows (Prison Break, House, Alias, BSG, The L Word etc) but only *fannish* about SV. I love porn. I love Clark and Lex. I love Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Wentworth Miller and the SPN boys. I love things that make me laugh. I love things that turn me on. I love making other people laugh. I love turning other people on. I love livejournal.
3. Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff): Bad writing. SGA (not that I've seen it but still. GEEKS IN SPACE WHO AREN'T EVEN HOT.) The following ships: Clana, Lex/Lionel, Sam/Dean. Unfunny people who think they're funny. Relentless negativity. AlMiles.
4. What got you interested in Smallville? Jenn's fanfic. I think I started with Sleep While You Drive and the rest is history.
5. What are your favorite SV episodes? Heat, Red, Onyx, Vessel
6. What SV story do you reread most often? It used to be Deep Throat, by Te, although I haven't read it in ages. For a long time that was my favourite fic though.
7. Random facts: I have dark hair and pale skin and I'm allergic to all fake tan. I drink and smoke way too much. I have a deep speaking voice and a great singing voice. I am pretty much exactly the same in person as I am online.

I was thinking that sometime in the future we should start a meme where we all do voice posts, because I'd love to hear everybody's speaking voice.

Of course you can. You can run it by me first if you're worried, but I have total faith in you not to sound *completely* insane. Maybe not total faith. Some faith.

Sleep While I Drive is a sublime story. i'm sorry i didn't start with it, but i did find it and have read it several times. who could resist it?

Ahhhhh!!!! John Sheppard! And his hair! (which seriously should get it's own billing!) Guh. And he has the most amazing forearms ever! (I have a forearm obsession. *g*)

And Sleep While I Drive! I think that fic is probably responsible for a huge number of fans. Mmmm...! SV always kills me b/c the fanfic is so amazing. I don't think there's any other fandom with that level of brilliance.

The fic is off the scale! So many wonderful authors have written so much dirty porn about Clark and Lex, I really couldn't be happier or more comfortable. SV fandom rocks!!!! \o/

I think it's hilarious how many SV fans hate AlMlles. Well, hilarious when it's not utterly depressing.

I first saw that cat in someone's icon that said "Is this teh intarwebs?" and thought it was really cute and funny. It's less cute when it's watching you masturbate, though.

Te's stories where the first I found on my very first wanderings into sv fics, her standalones got me completely and utterly hooked!
And I don't think anyone can drink or smoke to much (aside from the medical argument against it, but pah to such logical and responsible attitudes. Pah!)

I was completely obsessed with Te for a long time. And Jenn. I've read all their stories multiple times. SO GOOD. God I love our fandom.
