No, actually the party is in the comments of this entry! Come and join the fun and meet new people in SV fandom. I would especially like to encourage you quiet folks lurking in the back--even those of you without livejournals of your own--to drop by and introduce yourselves. We're all a pretty friendly bunch here, and we like to make new friends. Fandom is more fun when you get involved and meet people, so why don't you stop by and say hi?

Mac! Veronica! Mac/Veronica!
It's an absolute crime that there isn't more Xena/Callisto! So much more interesting than Xena/Gabby! Which is possibly because I'm not a big Gabrielle fan. But I mean really. Callisto and Xena had such a complex, intense relationship. It made for great drama. Plus they had way more chemistry than Xena and Gabrielle.
...and I too may have watched Touched by an Angel for Andrew. Not that I'm admitting anything mind you!

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE your icon. Where is a good place to get Xena screencaps, do you know?
I did eventually start warming to Gabrielle, but I totally agree with you that Xena and Callisto had a TON more chemistry. And Xena really *created* Callisto as she was, so like you say, their relationship was much more complex. Besides which, Hudson Leick is amazingly gorgeous, whereas that actress who played Gabby didn't really do anything for me.

Sky One (a tv channel now it only shows the simpsons over and over) used to do 'girl power fridays' which was Buffy leading into Xena it was so awesome, I only started watching Buffy *because* of Xena.
Callsito was the best nearly villian not quite because shes really just so damaged but in an evil kind of way villian ever. I miss her too...*weeps*

Xena was the bestest until it decided to go into crazy shit territory. I mean really... everything you said about Callisto being true and she turns out to be an *angel*, literally?!? Puh-leaze, people. Let the woman have some dignity as oneofthemostbadassalmostvillains EVA.
All in all, I miss it, too. *cries with you*
