No, actually the party is in the comments of this entry! Come and join the fun and meet new people in SV fandom. I would especially like to encourage you quiet folks lurking in the back--even those of you without livejournals of your own--to drop by and introduce yourselves. We're all a pretty friendly bunch here, and we like to make new friends. Fandom is more fun when you get involved and meet people, so why don't you stop by and say hi?

It's embarrassing to admit, but I've read Lanning's "Identical" series three times in the last 8 months.
Hey, don't be embarrassed about that. I'll read a good piece more times then that on a regular basis! It's like when you hear a song you really really like and you wanna listen to it enough times that it doesn't have to be playing and you can still hear it. Only with fic its like... you can be anywhere and close your eyes and there's the fic right there

Yes -- but I can listen to a song in 4 or 5 minutes; it takes *days* to read through the "Identical" stories. I'm not exaggerating. Seriously, though, if you haven't read them, I can't recommend them highly enough, and that's even with the caveat that the series is still unfinished.
