And speaking of the marvellous things about fandom....Last night, when I was simultaneously watching the season finale of "Psych" and reading SPN fic (well, during the commercials) I thought, hmm, wouldn't a Psych/SPN crossover be fun to read? And then today without even deliberately looking for one I happened to stumble acrosstrolllogicfics's Burnt Ash and Golden Eyes , which is marvellous. It turns out that Shawn Spencer is actually one of the "special" kids from Supernatural. It's hilarious, and has a marvellous Shawn voice (his conversation with the YED is especially funny), and great interactions with Gus. The Winchester brothers aren't a very big presence in the story, but they're there too. If you like Psych and know anything about the SPN-verse you'll like this story.
