bethbethbeth linked to a very funny piece I hadn't read in ages-- Deep Fanfic Thoughts, By Jack Handey (though it's really by violetisblue. Even though it focuses more on mailing list culture than livejournal, it remains just as true (and funny) as when it was first written. I just laughed like a hyena rereading it.
