brighidestone. This is a classic from season 1, so many of you have probably read it already, but it is possible that some SV newbies haven't encountered Brighid's amazing poetic style. I love all of her SV stories, but this one is definitely my favorite: a poignant post-apocalyptic tale, but one in which Clark and Lex are working together to try to reclaim the world. It is very short, but lyrical, lovely, and the perfect antidote when Clark and Lex are at each other's throats in canon these days.
