Smallville rec

Just so everyone doesn't think I've gone so far over to the Battlestar Galactica side that I've lost the Smallville love, let me recommend a really gorgeous Clex piece: Ciaan's Babel. It's set in season 2, very pre-Rift, and it's all about Clark and Lex communicating when the ordinary channels for communication are completely blocked. I love the way it shows that even when Clark and Lex literally
can't understand each other, they still understand each other.
