Some of you may have heard that the Lakota are trying to raise money to buy sacred land that is being auctioned off this weekend. If you're wondering why sacred lands are on the auction block in the first place, this essay has some good history of why the Lakota consider the lands sacred and how they were taken away. All my fellow USA-ns know that tomorrow is the National Day Of Protest For Marriage Equality, right? That link will let you look up where local protests are taking place; it's synchronized to all start at 1:30 Eastern (10:30 Pacific). At this point I think it's more than just protesting California's prop 8, Florida's prop 2 and the other anti-gay measures that passed in the recent election; it's about building a grassroots network in favor of marriage equality so these decisions can be reversed.

I decided I wanted to make a sign to bring to my local rally/march, but I'm looking for catchy suggestions for slogans. Of course, most likely I will go with some of the ones here, but if anyone has suggestions, please let me know.
