5. What are your favorite SV episodes? Ohhh, maaaaan. You know, I really loved Hypnotic. Just to watch Lana get--well, you know. No spoilers. ^_^ Umm, OH! Splinter! Splinter, Splinter, Splinter! Go, Tommy! Great acting, there--he just really made me proud of him there. The Pilot, Red, Stray, Ryan, Leech, Shattered, Heat, Prodigal, Rosetta (CR!), Exile, Obsession (one of only two het relationships I can see Clark in and not be too terribly CLex-hurt), Covenant (I didn't actually care for most of the episode, but the ending sequence is the best cliffhanger I've ever seen), Transference... That's a lot, isn't it?

I'm serious, it's a disgusting image. But I love black. Black, black, black... and grey. You know, later. After I've washed it a few times. ^_^ If I was a billionaire, I'd just travel all the time. For years. Eventually, I'd probably settle in San Francisco, but I'd want to keep a house in London and a penthouse in NYC. heh Yeah, I'm a dreamer. What else is random? Oh! I'm a pescetarian. That's like a vegetarian... who eats fish. ^_^ I love food. Soooo much. One of these days, I'm going to blow up like a blimp. I just know it. I'm twenty-eight, I live in Colorado, and I have absolutely no ambition whatsoever. I read voraciously, I occasionally write, and even more occasionally vid.

Smallville: Lex is and always will be my favorite. I like Clark in fanon better than in canon, but I still think Lex and he belong together.
I'm ridiculously in love with Michael Rosenbaum and I think he and Tom should do a porn film together and I keep entertained by convincing myself that they're perfectly in love and having lots and lots of sex.

Stargate Atlantis: Rodney is my favorite, but John runs a close second. Their banter amuses me to no end and I absolutely adore both David and Joe.

Good dialogue can be better than sex, and a good sex scene can sell a story, but if I can get them together then I am a very happy camper.

3. Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff):
Pettiness, hypocrisy, and people who don't take the blame for their mistakes. This is a lot of the reason I don't like Clark in canon.

4. What got you interested in Smallville?
I heard Lex say that he wanted to rule the world before he was thirty. And then I read The Middle of Nowhere (http://www.anyroad.org/merry/nowhere.html) and The Road Home (http://www.anyroad.org/merry/roadhome.html) by Merry and fell head over heals in love.

Many people who know me are under the mistaken impression that I know many things that I don't. About random things like computers and cars, etc. This confuses me greatly.

I think I'm going to make a list of the top stories people are listing, because it's very interesting to see. Lanning's Identical series seems tied with Jenn's stories as a gateway into the fandom.

In the interests of keeping my oar in (and also, whee, social! Even if it does keep crashing my dialup! *Whee*, dammit!)...

1. Tell us something about yourself: I only figured out what I wanted to do with my life shortly after my 24th birthday. You may now draw the obvious conclusions about my capacity for intelligent self-awareness.

2. Likes: Smallville. In general. (Yes, this includes Lana.) Other shows I love are House, Battlestar Galactica, Profit, and countless others listed in my userinfo.

3. Dislikes: okay, I know I said I like SV "in general", but I could really do with a *skosh* more, you know, *logic*. In general. Other dislikes include alarm clocks, pickled beets and my current job.

4. What got you interested in Smallville? I read a newspaper article about the SV cast at the WB upfronts waaaaay back before the first season began airing, and the idea of a young Superman series intrigued me. It didn't start airing on a broadcast Canadian channel until about a month after it started airing in the States, though, so I spoiled myself at TWoP and became even *more* intrigued. By the time I actually got to see the Pilot, my fannish love was pretty much inevitable.

5. What are your favorite SV episodes? 'Hourglass', 'Tempest', 'Lineage', 'Rosetta', 'Extinction', 'Shattered', 'Truth', 'Memoria', 'Transference', 'Spell' (hush, you), 'Mortal', 'Splinter', 'Lexmas', Reckoning'.

6. What SV fanfic do you reread most often? Actually, I reread meta more than fic these days.

7. Random facts: I'm one of the few, the proud, the Writers of SV Gen! And...gen for a lot of other shows, too. (For varying values of "gen".) I am very pleased at this *three page* proof of SV fandom's continued life and kicking-ness. I am Canadian. I like Terry Pratchett, and wish you all a Glorious 25th of May.

4. I watched Smallvile from the day it premiered because I am a big Superman fan and I saw that MR was in it and I've loved him since Zoe, Dincan, Jack and Jane.
5. Hard to pick. I like Craving because it's the ep that made me realize how gorgeous TW really is, I like Shattered and Asylum, Love all the red kyprtonite eps, The Kal eps, but my faves are the Lex- centric eps because I don't htink there are enough.
6.I read Photographic Evidence a lot, Lenore's fics, A Handful of Dust and Calm in the House by Jenn, Every Once in a While and The Plan by Herohunter, Card one the fool by Mistressace,The scent of a man series and Wolf breed series by hergerbabe, Heart of Darkness by Garry Owen(dogpoet),The Storm warning Series by C. Roxane- lots more, but those are the ones that spring to mind.
7. I'm 5'10.5" tall,The x files is my favorite show of all time- I can name any episode by watching the first 3 minutes. My fave snack is Terra parmesan and garlic chips.I want to publish my vampire novel soon, I'm not a fan of yellow pants, My favorite color is green, I live with my best friend, I love Sweet potato pie, but Chocolate cake most of all. Dangerous Liasons is my favorite movie and Interview with a Vampire and Jemima J are two of my favorite books. I like to read Chicken Soup for the soul books when I am having a bad day. I have kept a journal since I was nine and still have the journals from aged 13 - present(my dad lost the one for 9-12). I'm eating healthy now and working out a lot because I have to lose 63ibs to get to my goal weight. I love my family and my dream job would be to work as a movie/tv critic for a magazine. 1. Tell us something about yourself: I just turned 30 and have been married 10 years but thankfully have no children. I used to work as a costumer/seamstress and have done a lot of movie costume reproductions and such--but now just pretty much do that as a hobby. I am 5'4 and have auburn hair, green eyes. My pride and joy is my black VW bug which I have completely pimped out with Luthor corp items including a personalized tag, purple fur on the dash, and other goodies. :p I am a nut--and have been told I have a goofy sense of humor.

1. Tell us something about yourself: Both my husband and I are natives of So. Calif. We've endured not only earthquakes, riots, mudslides, but getting rear-ended by Courtney Cox's husband, David Arquette, driving a purple '57 Chevy.

7. Random facts: I look after my elderly parents and in my copious spare time, I hand make Christmas cards for relatives and friends. My last rescue was an abandoned kitten, barely 2 months old. Cleaned him up, got his mange cured and he now lives with an exceptional person (I met courtesy of LJ) in No. Calif. Last I heard, he's about the size of a bobcat. *g* He was my sixth rescue. The first one still lives with us.

Wow! Rescue cats. *deep breath* I once tried to rescue a cat but it wasn't successful. At the time I joined a lot of rescue groups online and got heaps of advice, but perhaps he was just that bit TOO feral, because after catching him and trying to get him desexed (he flew up the vet's wall, lost control of his bowels, and generally went mad), he bit my boyfriend badly. We ended up turning him over to the vet. So I have much admiration for your successes! It was a heartbreaking thing to go through...

I behave very, very differently at work than I do with my family, than I do with friends, than I do when I think no one can see me. Seriously. People have seen me in another context and been totally thrown for a loop. A few things are constant. I smile a lot, I'm "cute", I am generally uncomfortable around people who haven't yet declared their love for me.

I am a 21-year-old college sophmore from Missouri.
2. Likes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff):
I came to SV when my popslash fandom died a long, quiet death. Right now I am pretty exclusively a Clex shipper, but I also love well-written MR/TW RPS and occasionally will read some Harry/Draco from the Harry Potter fandom. I love futurefic, AU's, and college!clex. I like mpregs and RPS and can't quite bring myself to be guilty about it. I also like PWPs, but who doesn't? I am a sucker for a happy ending.
3. Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff) : I can't get behind incest. Lionel/Lex, Clark/Martha, Lex/Lucas, it all makes me a little queasy. The only exception would be if I found some well-written 4400 slashing Sean/Kyle. I like the 4400 but mostly forget about it except during the show's season. I don't like deathfic.
4. What got you interested in Smallville?
Tom Welling. But I warmed up to MR pretty quickly once I saw him in action. Also, I like superheroes and their canon stories, even though I haven't read a comic book since X-Men in the 7th grade.
5. What are your favorite SV episodes?
I don't know the ep names, but I really liked the episode with the kryptonite that split Lex into good Lex and Alexander. I like that MR can put that much depth into a villain. I liked the pilot episode a lot, of course. I also really liked the prom queen possession episode, for some reason.

I reread a lot of Lenore, Punk Maneuverability, Dogpoet/garryowen, misstressace, svmadelyn, kat reitz, and velvetglove, plus some more I can't think of right now.

Vessel is my most favorite for it is the only episode in which I make an appearance. All other episodes should be crushed beneath my heel. Except for Season 4 which should be burned to a crisp and the ashes then crushed beneath my heel.

I like fanfic in which I, Zod, take over the world and obliterate my enemies. Also the Chloe/Lana ship is hot. I have a special fondness for angst in which everyone dies.

I chose billionaire Lex Luthor to possess for he is bald, sexy, and evil, so I thought it'd be a good fit. Billionaire Bruce Wayne was my second choice, but that suit he wears looks like it would chafe and I used to have sensitive skin. Billionaire Bill Gates, despite being powerful and ruling most of the civilized world, is too much of a geek to even be considered.

Ok, a bit late in the game but here ya go!

1. Tell us something about yourself: Umm... I'm 28, married and live in Ohio. *snore* I'm lacking ambition for most things and procrastinate the rest. If given the option I'd read my day away. I write (read: start) the occasional story/fic but never finish. Which, is kinda key. Yes? lol. I assume it has something to do with that ambition issue I was just speaking of. :)
2. Likes: In general? Chocolate, Vampire stories/Movies, Sex *g* and Hard Rock music. Otherwise? Smallville - Cannon: Chloe, Clark (most of the time) and Lionel. Fanon: It is all about the Clex. :) But I'll read almost any pairing with Clark. Seriously. Well, except maybe Pete. I just could never quite go there. lol. I also watch/read/own/read fic for/obsess over or dabble in: X-Files, Dark Angel, House, Lost, Buffy, Supernatural and X-Men. (Movies... Not comics)

1. Tell us something about yourself:
I'm old, I'm married, I have 2 great kids. I'm an Army brat who moved around most of my younger life, although I've been in the Chicago area almost 30 years.
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert when I was 16 and cried when Jimmy Page came out. I think I've had fannish leanings for a long time. ;)
I work in OB/Gyne and I love my job. It's fulfilling well beyond just a paycheck.
I was way into Highlander and miss the fun cons. Damn, I wish the SV fandom had great cons like HL did. There's nothing so fun as meeting up with all your online friends at a con and getting crazy for a few days...
I'm also a breast cancer survivor (a term I still dislike, but whatever..). I'm getting better at admitting this to people, lately.
I'm still a bit LJ-challenged, but I'm getting better.

2. Likes: I'll stick to fandom likes..
Well I've always believed in 'say it loud, say it proud'.. Yes, I'm the one and only Lana fan in the LJ community. *wink* What can I say? She's my girl..
I'm a fan of who I consider the Big Three, and I love them in any and all combinations - Clex, Clana, Lexana... and (be still my heart)the very scarce, Clexana.

It's Tom/Clark who rules my fannish world though.. Good freakin' GOD, I will never get over the charisma and raw sexiness of that man. I adore Mike/Lex too..

Other fannish likes (to a lesser degree than SV) are: Supernatural (woof x 3!), Prison Break, Veronica Mars, House, Grey's Anatomy.. and RESCUE ME, which is coming back next week. Everyone needs to watch it, it's indescribably wonderful - funny, sexy, sad, shocking.. you name it.
I also love graphic novels - Sandman being a favorite. I've met Neil at a few readings/signings and I love him too. ;)

3. Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff):
Arrogance, fannish snobbery (although easily ignored), I truly detest most reality shows, black licorice (even the smell!), being a patient (reeeally tough for us control freaks), and if I'm going to be completely honest.. I can't stand Chlark, and Chloe tends to get on my nerves (but I do think AM rocks). Oh, and the guy they cast in the new Superman Returns movie? Ugh. Major disappointment.

4. What got you interested in Smallville?
The unearthly beauty of Tom Welling to start, but also the dynamic I saw between Clark and Lex, which still fascinates me. The ill-fated love between Clark and Lana continues to break my heart, and the disintegration of Lex and Clark as best friends (and likely *more*) does the same. I dig the whole Superhero thing, and always have. Christopher Reeve blew me away when I first saw STM in the theater.. and SV/Tom manages to recapture that same magic for me quite often.

5. What are your favorite SV episodes?
There are too many to list.. but off the top of my head, Hidden is at or near the top of the list, Memoria is special to me because I watched it at a time when I was getting ready to send my son off to college. That final scene b/w Martha and Clark left me sobbing..
Splinter, is an amazing showcase for Tom. Reckoning was gorgeous, as was Lexmas. Shattered is a great Lex ep, and I love watching Michael really show his stuff. All the RedK Clark eps make me swooooon, as does Transference.

6. What SV fanfic do you reread most often?
I really don't reread too often. I do adore Kate's porny offerings, teot's "And Desire Shall Fail," and a wonderful Kalana story called "Twisted Redemption."

7. Random facts (favorite food, color you wouldn't be caught dead wearing, pets' names, number of pairs of shoes you own, where you would live if you were a billionaire, etc.)
I have a cat named Roxy, and a canary named Chesai.

I swear there is someone else on my f'list who fangirls her... and I am proud to say that I have really *liked* Lana at times during Season 5, and I certainly find her a very interesting character now (though I had to get over my old prejudice first!). We have an Australian Terrier, 2 years old, named Charlie and also 2 cats, Kisses (very beautiful) and Tig (hugely fat). We live behind a natural park and take daily walks there to see the wildlife...deer, snapping turtles, foxes, blue herrins, various snakes, rabbits, fish galore, hawks, etc.

8. Thoughts of my own: I am not very active on LJ. I wish I had the time to write more and post more so that I could get to know everyone better. But, I just want tell all of you how much I appreciate you. LJ has in many ways been my mental savior. I love my family and I love my children, but I crave something of my own as well, and my friends on LJ have provided me with that mental respite necessary to keep me feeling happy and fulfilled. 4. What got you interested in Smallville? Zoe, Duncan Jack and Jane? No, really. I used to watch it (yes, I know. Sad.) so when I saw 'Jack' on an ad for SV, I thought, eh, why not watch? But the real moment that hooked me was the end scene of Hourglass; it had just such a gorgeous look, compared to the horror of what was happening.

5. What are your favorite SV episodes? Shattered, Asylum, Transference, Phoenix, Hug, Shimmer, Stray, Drone (seriously, if only for the slashiness) Splinter, Hourglass (see above), Rogue, Jitters, and the Pilot.

1. Tell us something about yourself: I'm transitioning life/careerwise, though transitioning into what, I'm not sure I hate being a work-in-progress. I believe in possibility, but I know I live in a world that's all about "gimmeNOW." I've lived on two coasts, and I'm contemplating shifting coasts again.

2. Likes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff): Not a fan of ships, not in the slightest. That said, I enjoy Clex and will occasionally read Lexana or Chlark if it's not ridiculously written. I'd say I'm lacking the schmoop gene, but I read schmoop and sometimes even like it. Maybe it's a bad schmoop allergy?

Enjoy action, good dialog, and sci-fi light. Watch Smallville, Dr. Who, SGA (because OMG! Teyla and Sheppard and Ronon! *fans self) and actually have all 7 seasons of Buffy on DVD¹, The first 3 Seasons of Alias, Firefly (Genius!)/Serenity, and SV Seasons 1-3 (will buy 5 but NOT 4 shudders*).

Tom Welling (aka The Mountain) pwns my ass. Clark? Not so much. We're working through a difficult patch. Still can say I don't like working out, but I'm trying to like it. Also, appreciate good sauvignon blanc and pinot noir.

I mean, she wore a lot a pink with Clark, and now, she's about purple/lavendar. That's just the visual stuff. Luckily, since Lex's more interesting, the characters become more interesting. If only someone can help KK with the kissing skillz.

I came to despise shipping thanks to fandom. Romance is nice, peeps, but hot dayum. Not the be all and end all, you know?

You know what they say about feet? Well the same goes for tails too. Violet has both male and female sex organs in her and neither one is active. She has a dick so small that you can't see it unless you hold her butt up to a light:) Then theres my gerbils Niblet and Giblet. 1. Tell us something about yourself: My name is Melissa. I'm a 22 year old slacker from somewhere around Chicago. I've seen Radiohead live 51 times.

2. Likes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff): On Smallville, my first love is Clark and my second is Lois. In some universes I'd be called a shipper, but I'm not too hardcore about it. I'm pretty happy go lucky about these kinds of things. I'm also somewhat fandom-y about Veronica Mars and all the Whedonverse shows. And currently, I'm also watching Grey's Anatomy, House, and Supernatural. Outside television, I'm a huge Radiohead fan. That's my first love and it trumps everything else, pretty much. And I'm also heavily into 'avant garde' music, literature, art, film, etc. Outside of television, I'm a bit of a pretentious snob, really.

Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff): Well, I really have a lot of issues with Chloe Sullivan as a character that most people do not seem to share, and I think Allison Mack is a terrible actress. Generally, I dislike a lot of things. Or so I'm told. I prefer to think of myself as selective. ;P

4. What got you interested in Smallville? Heh, well... The first episode I ever watched was Cool, and it was because one of the Radiohead news sites posted that there would be a Radiohead-related subplot in the episode. I didn't stick around, though. I hated the show and didn't start watching it again until S3, when it was on before Angel. Still hated it and found it to be laughably bad, but when Angel was cancelled I had to find some other show to obsess about. Guess Smallville drew the short straw. However, when S4 finally started airing, I was surprised to find myself actually enjoying the show. The difference? Lois Lane. I really liked her and what she brought to the show. Also? Tom Welling looks vaguely like Jonny Greenwood (see icon) of Radiohead, and that's as good a reason as any to watch.

5. What are your favorite SV episodes? I really thought Reckoning was visually stunning and well-done. I loved Splinter and its attempt at Hitchcock-esque paranoia. Pariah was deeply flawed, but interesting on a number of levels.

1. Tell us something about yourself: I'm a woman and I love it! We get to wear the best clothes and there is nothing finer than a woman's body - and I'm a straight girl saying that. Plus, it's really fun having men fall all over themselves for us, it's rather cute, don't you think? I am all about aesthetics: beautiful people and beautiful clothes make me a very happy girl.

2. Likes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff): My favorite thing in the whole wide world is ballet. I think a dnacer's body is the most exquisite form the human body can have. things that don't work for me as plays or movies do as dance, like Romeo and Juliet, as a play it's too depressing (i have a huge squick about young eople killing themselves) but as a allet it *works*. Howard Stern is like a demigod to me. I love his show more than I could ever post, which is probably why I don't really ever write about it. It's perfect and funny and it makes me laugh everyday.

My favorite thing about SV is probably Lana. I love Lex and Clark but I simply adore the girl. I can see how she would probably get all the breaks she does simply for being *her*, so I don't mind when the characters seem to constantly cut her so much slack. I also have a huge amount of love for the gemale guest stars on the show, so much so that I actively follow their careers: Emmanuelle Vaugier is my absolute favorite with Missy Peregrym right on her heels I have a soft spot in my heart for kelly Brook and I love seeing pictures of her frolicking on the each with the not good enough in a illion years for her Billy Zane. I know that both Adrienne Palicki (Kara) and Sarah Carter (Alicia) have new shows coming on in the fall. I have also taken a huge liking to Denise Quinones (Andrea Rojas aka: Batchiqua) because hello! hot Puerto Rican chick! She was a big reason why I was hoping Aquaman would make it to the CW.

As for the pairings, my favorite is Lexana but I enjoyed the sweeter moments of the Clana relationship, especially when they finally got it on.

There is no room here to list all of the shows that I watch due to the sheer volume but I think that the Winter Olympics was the best thing that I will see this year tv wise. I love figure skating but when the Olympics roll around I tune out everything else and this year was awesome. I actually buy into the dream that perhps through sports, the world can come together and find a common ground on which to buld a peaceful planet - go figure. My favorite show period right now is The Sopranos: it's a religion in my house. I went to school with a bunch of mobster's kids and the show is like a documentary. I know not of the boring-ness that people are stlking about thos season.

3. Dislikes (characters, ships, genres, TV shows, actors, real life stuff) : The only fandom I have ever been active in is SV and I know that it will be the only one. I have seen way too much hate directed at female characters in SV that has me dismayed because I like the female characters. There is a nasty strek that permeates where some fans are made out to be stupid for liking things that are enjoyed by the fandom at large or even for continuing to just like a show. Yeah, Ive been way turned off to fandom but not the LJ thing because I like reading about people's lives and the things that they love be it tv, work, family, friends, hobbies, travel. Life is a lot more than just the things we have in common.

My cousin once told me that he could never picture me living anywhere else and I told him "Why would anyone live anywhere other than New York?"

I would be remiss if I did not add that I hate, with the fire of a thousand suns, the new cheap ass we aren't trying to be hip logo for the CW. It mocks me with it's lameness. It hurts too because I think that Dawn Osroff is a kickass lady and her logo should reflect the sheer awesomeness of a netwok that can boast having the hottest looking actors and actresses and America's Next Top Model. Something that reflects it like the curl of smoke coming off an old school pimp's cigarillo forming the CW. Of course I would do a totally inappropriate promo featuring all of the pretty people with a focus on their asses with the tagline: "We have a great bottom line.' which would be criticized for being shallow.

Shallow? Absolutely. It's also better than that clip art abortion that they have now.

Mary/Marty Sues, female characters who think they have to be "tough" to be strong, death fics (unless they're EXTREMELY well written), spinach, tomatoes, mornings, bugs, spiders, most 1st person POV novels, people who don't like animals or kids.
4. What got you interested in Smallville? The Pretty and the Fanfic.
5. What are your favorite SV episodes? Um since I've only seen about three or four episodes, i really don't have a fave ep.
6. What SV fanfic do you reread most often? Anything by seperis, merryish, lanning, janete, and others.

Random facts (favorite food, color you wouldn't be caught dead wearing, pets' names, number of pairs of shoes you own, where you would live if you were a billionaire, etc.) There's too many things out there to have a favorite food, but I do love starchy and/or carb laden fair the most. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything pukey green in color. My pet's names are Sky, Brandon, Dane, and Leary (two dogs and two cats), I think I have like 5 pair of shoes, the rest of them are my sis' as she's the shoe hog in the family. :D If I was a billionaire I think I'd probably live right where I'm at cause that's where my family is, but I sure would do a lot of visiting. :D

1. Tell us something about yourself: I'm Smashley and I'm really excited to be at the Smallville Social even though I'm late. Do you like my dress?
2. Likes: Lex. He really bore into my heart, and I have been dreading, dreading his descent into evil since I got into SV because I was sure it would break my heart. Surprisingly, by the end of the season I was cheering for it with a bittersweet sigh. I started out not liking Welling much, but he's really grown on me a lot. I like Clark better this season than I ever have before. I loved Lana when she was the sweet girl next door, but oh ho ho! Not anymore. See below. Rosey is my favorite actor. I have so much respect for him and think he's such a funny person. I wish he would come over and play videogames with me.
3. Dislikes: Recently, Lana. I hate how everything she says is so bitter and accusatory. I suppose it was inevitable that she would turn into such a bitch but it doesn't justify it for me. Now I wish she'd just go away. I hate how she turns Lex into such a sap-- where is my corporate shark who cries for no one? Some of my biggest phobias (we're talking the kind that really dehabilitate someone, not just make them go ew!) are electroshock therapy and other methods of treatment for mental illness that border on torture. It made Shattered/Asylum almost impossible for me to suffer through. As soon as they mentioned ECT I started to get sick, and it made it so much worse that it was Lex. I tried to tough it out through the episode but I didn't make it. I had to get my roommates to tell me what happened.
4. What got you interested in Smallville?: Last summer I saw a rerun of the episode where Whitney's father dies. I watched the funeral scene with Eva Cassidy's 'Time After Time' with Clark in the rain in front of the angel statue and thought it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. One year later, we've made it through all the boxed sets DVDs and caught up in time to watch Season 5 along with everyone else! I'm a latecomer to the fandom but it's such a happy thing in my life that I enjoy so much, even when it upsets me.
5. What are your favorite SV episodes?: For me, this is like picking my favorite band or my favorite song... I just can't do it. Different things appeal to me about different episodes and I can find something meritorious in almost everything.
6. What SV fanfic do you reread most often? My favorite stories are Clex stories... I really enjoy almost everything Jenn writes (no surprise), and I could read anything of hers over and over.
7. Random facts: I'm a writer but I've never written fanfiction. I play Lex in an online roleplaying/writing game (http://chandlersmod.greatestjournal.com) at greatestjournal.com but I'm having a lot of trouble keeping things moving so I'm not sure how long it'll last. My license plate on my car says LX LTHR, I just got it this month. I have a few SV fans on my flist that I love to read, but I can always use more! I also love fanfic recommendations...please tell me who you think are on the 'required reading list' for SV fanfic. My favorite authors are Jenn, Thamiris, and Fajrdrako.

My personal take on Lexana is that Lex is playing Lana, at least on some level, so I don't actually think she is turning him into a sap as much as he's playing the man he knows she wants. (Hence the double entendre behind my icon).

1. Tell us something about yourself:
I’m a 40 year old Real Estate secretary and I’m single. I’m pretty shy so I don’t usually step out and do things like this but I thought it might be fun.

I love Tom Welling and Erica Durance as Clark and Lois. I ship Clois but I’m perfectly happy just seeing them progress their friendship along. I want to see them develop that bond that will one day make them soul mates but not lose all the snaky attitude because that‘s what makes them so fun to watch. Former fandoms include Harry Potter and the X Files. I love anything Disney, especially Winnie the Pooh. Disney World is my favorite vacation spot. I’ve been 8 times.

Not a big Lana fan, especially with what they have done with her character lately. But I think she and Lex work in an odd sort of way. I hate rude people and people who think their way is the only way and won’t concede a point to save their lives.
4. What got you interested in Smallville?
I happened to see the commercial for the Smallville marathon on ABC family at the beginning of the fourth season. I was making cards that Saturday afternoon so I sat down in front of the television to watch the pilot and was hooked by the time Jonathan told Clark his parents weren’t from around here. I didn’t budge the rest of the day and went out and bought season 1 & 2 DVDs that next week.

Pilot, Red, Ryan, Exile, Memoria, Crusade, Transference, Commencement, Reckoning
6. What SV fanfic do you reread most often?
I’ve never read any fan fic twice. There is so much out there to read I haven’t even gotten to all that I want to read for the first time.

I have a cat named Midnight who thinks he rules my universe. Purple is my favorite color. I love to read, romance or mystery, doesn’t matter as long as it is well written. I like to write when time and the muse allows it. I love Italian food and chocolate. I live for chocolate.
